Ondrej Papoušek

Sedan några veckor tillbaka befinner sig Ondrej Papousek från Prag i Sverige och skall spela för Lindås Herrjuniorer under resterande delen av säsongen. Vi frågade Ondrej hur det kommer sig att han hamnade här och om vad han tycker om Sverige och Lindås än så länge.

Can you tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Ondřej Papoušek. I’m from Czech republic and I’m 16 years old.

Why did you come to Sweden and Lindås?
I wanted to get better at floorball and also improve as a person. I always wanted to play Floorball in Sweden and one of my friends connected me with Ricard Carlsson who really helped me with my transfer.

Do you think there is a difference between floorball in Sweden and Czech Republic?
I think floorball here is at different level than at the Czech republic. People take it more serious here and it’s a big part of their lives.

You have now been here for two weeks - how do you like it so far?
I love it here. Everyone at the club is really kind to me and makes sure that I feel comfortable. I just hope that I can pay them back by playing well and scoring goals!

Ondrej tränar och spelar med Herrjuniorerna. Herrjuniorerna spelar i flertal serier. Att nämna är att på söndag (3/2) är det möte i Salming i Juniorallsvenskan mellan Lindås och Warberg som ligger 3:a resp 2:a i grupp H.
